Environmental Champions
Kisumu Environmental Champions is a teen and youth-led non-profit organization dedicated to environmental conservation and advocacy, sustainability and climate action.
Their members range from ages 13 to 35 years old, with different disciplines such as roller skating and cycling
Kisumu WOW Event 2024
We will have a general cycling activity through the city to the event venue. Instead of medals, we will offer certificates according to the number of participants, reaching a total of 150 participants.
Our climate action of choice for this year will be tree planting
Our group runs a campaign called “Let Lake Victoria Breathe Again” which is geared towards the restoration of Lake Victoria and its ecosystem, and protection of the world’s water bodies.
